Hello there Linkup fans! Is anyone else taking a sigh of relief now that Valentine’s Day has passed? If you’re a mom, I’m sure last week involved some Valentine baking or crafting or something to get your kids set-up for school.
I have to admit, I think we can thank Pinterest for how over-whelming these holiday related tasks can now be. With all the great ideas available on the internet nowadays, I think we all put a little too much pressure on ourselves to come up with that unique idea that’s going to wow the class. In my house, if the kids aren’t able to help significantly with the project, then it’s not the right one for us. Mom is NOT going to do it all, that’s just the way it is. Even the “littles” should be able to help with something! Lucky for me, I have a craftastic little girl that loves that kind of thing, so she’s always a big help and has plenty of ideas of her own.
Today’s Make and Mingle Linkup Party featured posts include snow day inspiration, some delicious recipes to try your hand at, and a great upcycle for unique planters to put you in the mood for some warmer weather hopefully heading our way soon.
Now, if you are still dealing with snow in your area, Seri’s Blog has defined the Perfect Snow Day to a T. Heck, after reading her post, I almost wished I could trade my 75 degree weather here in Houston for just 1 snow day (I said almost.) Check out the Hot Chocolate cookie recipe too…
Do you like the rustic look? Then you will love the upcycle project on KreativK using coffee tins for pretty planters. So easy and so perfectly adorable.
I’m getting hungry while I am typing this, because I just have to share this RECIPE inspired post from Dreaming of Leaving. Jessica shared a roundup of the BEST Brownie Recipes and there are some seriously delicious options here. O-M-G
