Today I had to pop in to one of my favorite discount stores – Marshall’s – and see what Spring decor they might have that just HAD to come home with me. The groundhog said Spring is arriving early this year and I need to get with the program. Good excuse right?
They hit me fast and furious with a table of lovely Easter goods right inside the door, and it was all over from there.
I snagged this pretty rustic pastel Easter wreath for $14.99…
And this adorable moss and vine decorative bench was displayed with some stuffed bunnies. I am sure I have some of those around here somewhere, so the bench came home with me for $14.99…
And then I saw this sparkling vintage inspired Easter greetings plaque for a wall or door hanging, and you guessed it… in the shopping basket it went. My daughter will love this – my reasoning. A sweet steal at only $9.99.
Once I could tear myself away from the entrance, I headed to the floral and outdoor decoratives. Well this boxwood ball was only $12.99, so it was a totally justifiable purchase. Let’s be honest, we all know I am not going to pass up a good deal on preserved boxwood right? The green urn is actually an old candle I had in a cabinet that has been diminished to only a spot of wax, so it’s getting repurposed.
And then there was THIS adorable little pedestal terrarium jar with it’s worn and weathered look just begging to come home with me. I reluctantly agreed. At only $7.99, I felt sorry for it sitting there like that!
After that, I forced myself to leave the building. It’s a dangerous place for a girl like me. I offset my costs with a gift card from a friend and walked away with some wonderful bargains.
Marshall’s is awesome right? Have you picked up any Spring decor there recently? Well, if this post doesn’t give you the itch to go, I don’t know what will 😉
Yay for Spring!
